help what suspension mods to fit a 28'' tall tire on 17'' wheel
i have a 2000 camaro ss org a a 6 speed car ,but when i bought it it had a
th400 setup in it, with stock rear end stock torque arm but rear end relocters and adjustable lower controll arms with a 28'' tall tire not sure about uppers, just did a swap with a real nice guy on the site my hole th400 setup for his t56 drive shaft and all. He put the th400 setup in and the drive shaft was about an 1''and a half short could be a result in the suspension mods i have to fit the 28'' tall tire, am i gonna run into a problem when i get my t56 in and the stock style alum drive shaft be to long because the mods that were dune to my car to fit the tire under my car .just dont want the drive shaft to be to far in the tranny. Any help would be great
thanks kevin

So you still have the suspension mods on your car to move the axle forward and fit your car with those large tires right? If so then have the driveshaft shortened and rebalanced at cometent driveshaft shop. Or have one custom made for your car in the proper length.

He is right! But two things that might happen though when you adjust the rear with control arms. You might off set the tire in the wheel well and you will have to adjust your pinion angle again. That was just some food for thought.
Thanks

You should be fine with that driveshaft. Once i centered my rear axle to clear the 28's, the Driveshaft i got from you fit perfectly.
