I trimmed a coil off my SLP eibach fronts to even out the stance. turned out perfectly. if your trying to drop more than an inch buy springs....if your wanting less than an inch....trim away. 95% of the people that will tell you not to have never done it. I've seen chip foose trim springs last minute on numerous overhaulin episodes top get the height right. again, small changes is the key phrase here....more than about 1 coil and problems arise. also trimming off 1 coil out of a stock springs will be a different drop than 1 coil out of an aftermarket spring.
