Default front brakes sticking

both the front brakes seem to always be locked (about 30%) when driving the car. now when applying the brake pedal hard it often gets to sticking worse but eventually loosens up and goes back to 30% sticking. pads are new, rotors have 69k on em. any idea's?

You might want to bleed the brakes to make sure all the air is out. Make sure the lines are tight..I'm assuming there are no leaks..Check the master cylinder..

Sounds like your calipers aren't releasing. Had the same problem on my car. Ended up being the sliding pins. They were seized inside the bracket due to a lack of grease.

Sticking brakes are usually caused by 1 of 3 things - sticking caliper slides, bad calipers (pistons sticking in bores), or bad hoses (collapsed).

Start with the slides, thats the most common issue on sliding calipers. Pull them out, if they are bone dry, you may have found the problem. Lube them up with some good caliper lube (Permatex makes a good synthetic lubricant) and see if it fixes the problem.

If not, you're looking at the calipers and hoses next. I haven't heard of very many caliper failures with our PBR calipers, but its still possible. If you find out its the lines, replace them with some aftermarket stainless braided lines while you have it apart.

if there is any noticeable wear on one pad rather than the other it would clue you in on whats sticking.
