Default 275 spring question

hey guys, Ive been searching here like crazy for the last few hours, and cant seem to find a definitive answer. Ive got a full weight Trans Am. I just purchased a pair of QA1's for the front from a buddy on the cheap. Well he thought they had 300 lb springs, but ended up being 275's when he took them off. My question is, will these springs be OK? The car isnt a daily driver, but does see ALOT of street time. I drive it to the track and back, no trailor. Its a street car.

I just ordered a set and was told 275 for light weight cars, ie no supports and stripped
300 for close to stock weight and 325 for iron block and or super charger/turbo cars where the nose is heavier.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but those springs are too light for your car. Like the other poster said if it was a stripped lightweight car they would work but your going to need the 325lb springs. If you need a set give me a call.

Not alot of change from 275 to 325. You will have more over all roll with the 275. Also you will have more dive while braking. Make your ride hight a lettle higher and you will not have a problem. They are a better drag race spring. I would never put that on a car that needs to handle. But I would never use QA1.
