Default brakes problem

I just finished a new engine install with a cam similar to the cc503. I also installed stainless brake lines and powdercoated calipers. oiled up all the pins and pads good and bleed the lines of air twice.

Now.. when driving the car when I hit the brakes it does nothing.. all the way to the floor.. Nothing. I pump it a second time and starts to slowly slow the car down, the 3rd full pump slows and stops the car normally. So it take me 3 full pumps to get regular stopping power. I don't see any leaks on any lines or calipers and I know the system is air free.

I have a ABS delete - line lock system and a regulator for the rear breaks. I think it might be in locked position so it's not letting any pressure for the front brakes? but who knows I just installed it? Anything else it could be?

You could get some remanufactured parts from your local auto parts store (usually inferior quality), go to the dealer (expensive), or order them from GM parts direct.

Also try eBay Motors, some venders sell genuine GM parts for discount prices.

Actually I've ordered up GM parts from Sam Strano. Good pricing with the stupid high shipping cost of GM parts direct

Good call. Didn't realize he carried genuine GM replacement parts.

Bleeding is a waste of time when the master is leaking.
