Default Car bump steering a lot on 275s.

I had my car aligned not too long ago to factory specs and new gs-d3s up front. I am having a bit of trouble with bump steering. The car is very hard to control on bumpy roads.

What are my options?

Btw, i have 1le bars, tubular rear suspension, sfcs, eibach pro kit and bilstein hds (lowered 3/4 inch).

Run the toe in a little. IIRC I set mine at 1/16" and it drives good with normal tire wear. I have it written down in the glove box I'll try to remember to look and post back up.

i'm having the same issue with the same tires. And i aligned it myself, might have to put it back on the rack. I'm not lowered though so that kit wont fix mine.

You can try a bumpsteer kit.. but most of have no need, because bumpsteer is not a big issue with the car unless you absolutely slam it.

You're going to hate my opinion. Bilstein's are not best for lowering springs. The springs want more damping control, especially when the roads are not smooth. The mass of the car gets to moving around and it's underdamped and it can pull and yank you all over.

FWIW, I don't follow when you say Eibach, HD's and then lowered 3/4". What does that mean exactly?

Has the issue gotten worse since those springs and shocks went on? If you have many miles on them, I'd guess yes and that'd be due to the shocks wearing (normal), but they are so iffy on damping for springs when new, any amount of wear makes things gradually worse and worse.

Finally, I want to make sure you mean bump-steer vs. the sticky/stiff tires pulling you around in ruts. Those are different things.

I thought he was describing "trammeling"(sp). Slight toe in really helped mine wth trammeling.
