Default weak brakes

ok, i just got my motor running....370 ls based with a single plane intake. right now its pulling 10 inches of vacuum at idle. car is automatic.

my brakes feel weak. when swapping the motor in the car (97 t/a), i installed a sjm abs delete kit. since, trying to figure this out. i've replace almost every line except for the flex lines, new master cylinder and new rear calipers. i've overhauled everything, brakes are move freely, no leaks and no air (borrowed a vacuum bleeder) and bleed over 2 bottle of fluid thru the car so far.

i'm lost at what the problem could be. i don't want to throw money at the car and not fix the problem, these things cost enough as it is.

any ideas/suggestions?

not enough vacuum, may need to run a vacuum canister or pump like the old engines do, just a thought not for sure i think it the brakes need 12lbs

10 inches of vacuum isn't much at all, and probably not enough to give you power brakes, which is the reason the brakes don't feel good.

Good to hear. Sounds like the booster may have had an internal leak, which is basically the same effect as having a vacuum leak in the booster hose.
