Default Brake Problems

Okay so i just put new brake pads on today and after i got everything back together and took it for a test drive i ran into a problem. Before i changed the pads there was a little bit of wobble in the steering wheel when i put the brakes on, now it is a lot worse. The rotors are not warped or anything, so i know they don't need to be turned. What causes this wobble when i apply the brakes and how can i fix it.

They may not be worn, but it does sound like they are warped.

alright i just bought some replacement cheapo rotors from O'rileys. Putting them on later and hope they solved my problem. My camaro is just a DD, no race car or anything like that so they should be alright. Thanks guys

When you have your rotors off, turn the hubs by hand. If you feel any grinding or clicking, you should prepare for a hub/bearing replacement sometime soon. (If you have 94K on them, then they probably won't have much left.)

i changed them out today and it fixed the problem. Smooth stops, no wobble, just a little squeaky. I checked the hub and it spun smooth, no problems. So it looks like its good to go. Thanks guys
