Default Has anyone made a bubble flare using their double flare tool?

The title states the question. I read somewhere that it could be done, so I started trying it with my double flare tool. I miked both the old fitting and the new one I made. The OD of each line was exactly the same (0.189), the OD of the flare was very close (0.277 for the old piece, 0.275 for the one I made). The angle for each appears to be ~45 degrees (where it goes into the ABS block), and the back of each flare (where the fitting pushes up against it) is flat.
The problem is that this is a front brake line, and the car will be extrememly quick when I get it back on the road. The last thing I want to do is lose the brakes at the strip when I am doing over a ton.
Any comments or suggestions are certainly welcome.
