Default lifespan of Koni

Any lifespan difference between Koni SA & DA?

I know they're lifetime warranty and can be rebuild anytime. The question is, which one will need a rebuild sooner?

Anyone experience a shorter lifespan (rebuild sooner) on Koni DA?

Have you ever noticed that you don't see Sam Strano recommending the Koni DA's, over the Koni SA's ?

I'm not saying you'll have problems if you buy a set, but I've had Koni DA's and had repeated seal problems with them, and my understanding is that the SA's are a more durable design than the DA's.

I guess it's not the koni design, just bcuz it's being DA. My ricer STi friend said even HKS DA fail faster than Cusco SA shock. I was wondering will Koni did the same.

How soon you've to do a rebuild?

After the 3rd seal problem with the DA's(years ago) I sold them "as is"!
I did have Koni SA's on a ford contour back in 1996 and never had any problems with them, at least in the 4 yrs I had that car.
