Problems with Moser 9" and stock sway bar...
Anyone else have a fitment problem with a stock sway bar and a Moser 9" ? I wanted to run it for a bit till I could afford a real sway bar from TRZ, but I guess I will have to go collect $$ from the people who owe me at the moment . Any ideas on what to do? I could always heat it w/ a torch and bend the **** to fit, or? suggestions?
thanks for any help

Thats an option that I was considering, but it took a 10 ton bottle jack to get it up there, and judging at the amount I had to push it, I would have to take at least a 1/2" x 1/2" piece away. I really don't want to take any of the structural integrity away at the welds there. They aren't cast like the 10 bolt, only threaded tubes welded on. I think I should just go ahead and order an anti roll bar and be done with it. I don't like cutting "bolt on" parts to make them fit.
thanks for the idea, I still may be going this way if I don't want to fork over the $$

BMR Sales, that's a good idea. I will have to give that a try after work tonight. I'm not sure how easy it will be since the endlinks are bolted up at the floorpan rails, possibly with the amount of spacers that I need to clear the rear end, I'm not sure if the endlinks will hold up. May need to investigate into longer ones from a different car. What I'm trying to say is that I'm not sure how much give I would have. That would put an extreme amount of tension on the bar I would think. But I am definately going to try your idea tonight.
