ABS Delete ?

ABS Delete ?

Car is a 1997 T/A.

I see the SJM Manufacturing ABS delete kit, is that the only one out there ?

I hate the way this cars ABS works and want it gone ! Plus it's big and ugly in the engie bay !

When I cut mine out I just T's the front to both fronts and the back to both backs. Cleaned up the engine bay a ton.

you didnt use a proportioning valve?

there is another company that does one but it costs allot more money.

No proportioning valve. I don't see any difference in braking.

Thank you for your interest in our products. I believe you'll find our kits are complete and our customer support is informative.

A proportioning valve is an important component in the braking system. Stock, the ABS controller biased your brakes. Internally, it included valving to control the vehicles needs. When you remove/disable ABS, you remove these components and the ability to adjust front/rear pressures via the controller. This is why adding a valve is important.

Incorrectly biased brake system increases stopping distances, increases uncontrolled braking and can create hazardous braking situations.
