Default energy suspension lube question

I just received a full bushing kit and have a quick question. The kit comes with lube and the directions say to lube all areas where metal touches the bushing. However, for example, the control arm bushings are already together...am I supposed to press the pieces out to lube the areas described in the directions? By together I mean the inner sleeve comes assembled in the bushing and the bushing is installed in the outer shell...THANKS!

The lube is for the outside surfaces of the bushings. Use your finger and rub it on all out side surfaces

Hope that helps,
Ryan
