Default Upper panhard bar?

Hey guys i'm in the process of changing out my broken 10bolt in my 94 camaro. I noticed that my upper panhard bar is rusted out. My question's are,

Are aftermarket upper PHB's worth $200?

If I don't have another by the time my car is back together can I drive it with out the upper panhard and not cause any problems?

I already have a BMR lower panhard, BMR lca's, energy poly sway bar bushing kit, ready to go in. Thanks

Hello, we sell a panhard relocation kit for using up to dual 3" exhaust over the rear end. We don't actually make an upper panhard support. If you do autocrossing or corner carving the upper panhard support will help you out.
Gm put them on there for a reason but alot of people do take them off. If you could find one in a local salvage yard in good shape i would put it back on. You can drive the car without one on it.

the main purpose of aftermarket ones is to clear duals. that part doesn't receive all that much stress. i'm sure the rusty one will be fine until you find a used replacement.

(not trying to rob a sponsor of a sale, just my opinion)

Yup dont do it! I put one on mine to get rid of an exhauset rattle but now I have issues of it making contact with the lower PHB. I would just stay stock thats what im goin back to.

Hello
When UMI Performance manufactured there pan hard bar relocation. We based it off of a stock ride height vehicle. The only times that there has been a few problems is when a vehicle is lowered. It brings the top bar closer to the lower and that is were the clearance issue is. But there are manufactures that offer a lower pan hard bar relocation as well to eliminate the clearance issue.
Hope that helps!
Thanks
Brad
