Question C5 Rotor......left and right?

Hey guys, today I went to Napa and got a set of C5 rotors to install on my Camaro but I need to know which one goes on which side. They labeled them as “Left” and “Right.”

Is this to mean:

Left = Driver
Right = Passenger

Wow, I didn't realized Napa sold C5 rotors. Interesting. I may have to pick up a set sometime very soon. How much did you pay if you don't mind?

~$30 each.....and they come with a lifetime warranty against cracking/warping/etc.......so unless you run the pad backing through them you are set for life.....

from a dealership, C5 rotors were $103 each and F-body were $145 each

I din't know that C5 rotors will fit our FBodies. I thought that C5's rotors were bigger. They have bigger brakes and rims that don't have huge spaces between the rotor and rim. Did you have any probs installing them? Do you still have the stock two caliber brakes? If so I will def have to get them too. I think my stock rotors are warped, hard to tell since there is no cracking in them. It wouldn't hurt to get lifetime warrenty rotors.

The C5 rotors are 13" where as the F-Body rotor is 12". The are conversion kits where you can relocate the caliper to fit the bigger rotor.

when you do this, do you just move the caliper out and that is it?

It will fit the 17" rim wont it?
Thanks

yes......the caliper gets moved out ~0.5" and it will fit under 17" rims because Corvettes have 17" front/18" rear. Its a very common mod to impove braking.
