Default longer wheel studs...

I am building a rearend for my car, which is going to be about 1.5 inches then a fbody rear on the each side. Which means I have to change my backspacing for wheels or run a spacer.. Id really like to keep my current wheels. My question is with having spacers and longer wheel studs is it more dangerous or at a risk of breaking on a fast-hard launching car?

Extended wheel studs are designed for hard launching. Make sure that if you use a spacer that it centers itself by using the axle hub instead using the studs to center itself.

ARP studs are recommended

7713 - $28.75
Pack of five 3.25" long studs

7703 - $10.99
Pack of five 2.5 long studs

The 7703s are basically the same length as the stock F-Car wheel stud, just threaded all the way to the end. Using a 1/2" spacer is just a tick too thick for these.

If you are building a rearend for your car, and you wanna run the wheels you have, why are you building it 3" narrower than what it is now??? What are you building/putting together for it????
