Default Bleeding the brakes after a caliper removal

Well, I am glad the site is back up

I was removing my front struts when I noticed the boots on my passenger's side caliper were pretty much torn to shreds. It looks like someone pinched them under the pads a long *** time ago.

So, I replaced the caliper with a fresh reman, all other calipers looked real good.

I went ahead and bled the brakes on both side in the front, starting with the passenger's.

But, I think the brakes feel a little soft. I have not taken the car on the road yet, but they still don't really feel as firm as before.

Is there a way I have to bleed out the ABS unit?

Will the ABS unit be okay without being bled? Can it catch air when the line was open?

The ABS should be fine. When you open the system like that, you really need to bleed all four to be safe.
The correct bleeding order should be:
RR (Right Rear, or passenger's side)
LR
RF
LF

Another way to look at it is bleed the farthest one first, next farthest, etc.

Sounds good, I'm just not too use to the ABS.
