Heres what happens when you have a welder and get bored. I wanted a set of control arms with the johnnie joints that the four wheelers use for lots of twist movement and still wanted to keep road noise down like you get from heim joint control arms. I used a 1LE soild bushing on one end and a 2" Currie johnnie joint on the other with boxed section tubing, very heavy duty and only weight 1Lb over the stock arms. They are not as loud as my old BMR control arms and don't bind up the suspension in the turns, so far so good!

Cheap! from Currie the weld-in style johnnie joints were only about $32.00 and the 1LE bushing I got for about $15.00 for two. The tubing was laying around the shop left over from another project, so ended up with less than $100.00 in the arms.
