camaro bleed question?

camaro bleed question? Just installed new s/s lines and corvette brake kit. and yes master did go dry. Then i used my motive power bleeder, and felt pedal. Felt perfect then started car and pedal goes nearly to floor. So brakes work with engine off and stop working when you start it. It has a fairly new master cyl. on it as well.

Even if the master cylinder went dry you don't have to take it off and bleed it on a bench. Make sure all your bleeders are closed and bleed it like you normally would. The only difference is before you start opening bleeders crack the lines where they attach to the master cylinder. After you have no air there then start with the bleeders. Start with the right rear and work your way closer to the master cylinder. Like Spartan said don't do it with it running.
