Default New brakes

Hi everyone just wanted thought on this combo. Have read alot and just wanted to get input on the combo before I but the money down. Will be using the stock calipers.

1. hawk hps pads
2. c5 conversion kit
3. brembo blank corvette rotors

Let me know what youll think

i just look that those kits from umi.. they look real nice and a good price. i'd go with those unless you run 18's and step up to the cts-v and z06 rotors shown in the sticky's not sure on the prices tho.

definitely going to be a nice upgrade. good fluid and pads makes a huge difference.

ATE blue or "type 200," Castrol SRF(expensive), Motul(available at motorcycle places), there's a bunch of good stuff out there. not entirely necessary but you might as well while you're at it IMO.

yeah If you're going to go all out, I would also get braided steel lines. So add some new fluid and new steel lines to the order. Only reason I havn't changed mine is b/c I havn't removed the calipers.

They are all fairly good. I don't realy know which is better. My deciding factor is usually what ever Thunder carries. Nothing like tax free and fast shipping ( I live in TX and they are in LA).

I leave in Texas aswell. My only concern with a ss kit is if a regular kit will reach do to the bigger rotor. Is yhere a specfic kit for the c5 conversion?
