Default BMR Drive Shaft Loop Installation Problem

Just got a BMR drive shaft loop but i'm having problems fitting it in. I currently have stock exhaust and stock Y pipe. I have pushed the loop as far as i can to the driver side of the car and it it only about 1/8 of an inch away from the Y collector. The exhaust is banging on the loop. If there is anyone out there that has installed one, any help or suggestions are very much appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Loops seem to be a hit or miss when it comes to fitting correctly, I would send it back if you can. I tried a SLP loop on my stock y-pipe and had to remove it because it would touch the y-pipe, installed it on a friends SS which has a SLP y-pipe and it fit perfect.
