why does everyone say that it has to be level? you want the difference from the two angles, which will be the same no matter how unlevel ,,right?
Also, does this street car that has -2, have drag radials?

Get the car level. It will throw off the measurement if you dont. Dont make life harder on yourself...

Sorry, but I have to ask... Do you really think that after your springs have been holding your car up for 13 years, it's going to "settle" a little more over night, really?

Having the car level will produce the smallest numbers to deal with.

Also depending on how unleveled the car is it can affect ride height front to rear which would alter pinion angle.

you said it was body mounted right? do you have a stock exhaust? Does the exhaust hit the tunnel brace bracket? reason being, i put a umi tbm t/a and where the y-pipe comes together it hits the bracket. i made sure to get the one that is meant to clear a stock exhaust but it is extremely annoying under acceleration. Hello
Thanks for choosing UMI Performance! Another suggestion for you is to loosen up the Y Pipe and rotate it so it rotates off of the cross member. If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Thanks
Brad

i tried that. it didnt budge. i also tried adjusting the exhaust hangers which helped for a bit but the exhaust settled back down.
i take it spacing the cross member from the tunnel, a 1/4" or so, isnt a smart option?! thanks for any help.

Hello
Another option for you is to just get the cross member for the Long Tube set up. We offer them for $184.99+S/H. If you have any other questions about the cross member feel free to ask! And I will be more than glad to help.
Thanks
Brad
