Help me pick a Torque arm please?? The time has come for me to work on the suspension and drivetrain of the car a little bit closer 
during the winter i am going get a 12bolt, a 3.5'' Driveshaft and a Torque Arm
Can any one recommend a TA for me? post up of any that you have heard of breaking, noises, and so on??
I have no idea which TA to get...
please help out a poor slow Bolton LS1

The Spohn units are pretty good. On the less expensive side are the LG Motorsports and Random Tech units. I have heard the Edelbrock is ok too, and its the cheapest I think. The Madman TQ arm is the best in my opinion BUT...the last I heard it's only for cars with true dual exhaust. Do keep in mind that with any TQ arm upgrade you WILL get more noise and vibration then the stock mushy crap.

LG is having a 25% off sale. (on their LG - G2 suspension parts). They posted it up in this section not too long ago. 25% off 500 is a LOT! It makes it what, about $375.

Spohn TA is a very nice set-up. If your car is lowered then you may need to make some "minor" adjustments for ground clearance. The cross bar is designed with a low dip for exhaust clearance, it hangs too low if you are lowered. I also had to "massage" the tunnel where the TA connects to my 12 bolt. Totally cahnged the way the car launches. I'll never own another TA that connects to the tranny.

Verdad Gallardo Another great advantage the G2 TA has over others is that it uses all the factory mounting points and runs in exactly he same place as the factory TA. So, it will work with any exhaust system or other suspension component you might get.
And you don't have to weld, drill or fabricate anything to install.

TQ arms with factory mounting points should not increase interior noise themselves. The increase in noise and vibration comes from changing the tq arm mounts and tranny mounts to poly bushings.
Also, do some research on what TQ arms fit 12bolts. You will find that most will require some work to make them fit properly.
My personal experience with the BMR full length TQ arm and Moser 12 bolt is that I had to grind some off of the 12 bolt housing and a little off of the TQ arm mounting plate. My TQ arm installtion is a couple of years old. This may be fixed by now.

the spohn T/A requires no drilling, tapping, or welding either, AND it fits on a 12 bolt (well at elast a strange 12 bolt) with no problems, but I would recomend getting the bolt package they sell also, provides slightly longer bolts for more thread engagement to make up for the thickness of the plates on the T/A
