I just finished installing a 2002 Camaro steering column into a 1994 Firebird. It is a direct bolt in. There is NOTHING different that I can see. All the plugs connected without any changes as far as I can tell. I haven't finished the VATS bypass but once that's done tomorrow I'll be taking it for a drive. The only thing that gave me a problem was that the shaft got pushed into the column and I thought they were different lengths. The shaft in the column is a two piece shaft and is collapsible thought I thought different lengths.

You will need both the column and the steering shaft from the LS1 car.

Thanks for the quick reply. Also can I use the air bag and wheel from the LS1 car?
