Default Pictures of modified spring perches on HAL shocks??

Ran a search to find out what it takes to run something other than a HAL spring with their shocks. I kind of get the idea, but a picture is worth a 1000 words. Thanks in advance!

I saw some pictures a while back of some replacement perches made out of a CNC aluminum, but can for the life of me find them again.

I got the hals and just got the springs with them so mine fit. But where ever you ordered your shocks from should have the modified spring seats too.

Thunder sells modified spring seats... but the original poster is looking for pictures of them modified.

correct. A picture of either the Thunder seats or ones done at home will work.

I was wondering the same thing. I was wondering if anyone has modded their own front spring seats to fit the bigger aftermarket shocks (HALs). Is this something you can do with a bench vise, and rotary rasp & grinding wheels on my drill? Or should I pony up the $100 & buy a set from Thunder Racing? I don't want to tear the front end apart & then find out I have to wait a week for parts....
