Hi,

I have an Impala Convertible 1970 350 cui.
I am looking for a Drum to disc brake conversion kit for the front breaks.
Unfortunately I am not able to find one for this car.

e.g. I would like to buy this one:

But it is not compatible with my car according to SSBC tech man, and they do not offer one for a 70 Impala.
I do not understand it, because you can use it for e.g. 1964-1972 Chevrolet Chevelle or 1964-1972 Chevrolet El Camino.

Who can help me? What does fit for my car and where can I buy it?

master power brakes website lists a few kits for the 70 impala doesnt specify vert or not

I think I read that Corvette spindles bolt on the big chevys of the same era, and you get the brakes of course.

You should be able to use the 73-77 gm a body spindles, they are the same for 2nd gen f-body and novas too. The spindles are a common upgrade for the 72 and older chevelle because they are taller it will give you better handling. You will need a new master cylinder for disc. This is a straight forward swap.

I had a bad experience with master power and won't use them again.
