until you drive one you won't know. ride and handling are such subjective things that nobody will ever be able to "tell you" what it will feel like to YOU.

I was hoping this would be the case. The front seems to have settled down a little just from the drive the other day. This really was a poor before and after considering how the car spent most of the winter inside...I really hadn't driven it more than 2-3 times in the last couple months due to weather and I'm sure I don't remember all the delightful bumps and jolts the old set-up gave me.

I went from stock shocks to Bilsteins to front Konis on the lower perch. My experience with the Konis is that they hit the sharp bumps hard. Yes, they get better in warmer weather and with some miles. Adjusting them to your preference also helps. But in the end, IMO, they're no match for Bilsteins for dampening impact harshness.

I would love to have the help too. Too bad you are on the other side of the state. What were the specs you had it aligned to?

Finally got some updated pics with the camera. The front has settled down a little bit and I think it looks pretty decent overall. I've taken on some speed bumps too and have yet to drag the headers. Night and day difference cornering.

Update: Got the car aligned today and spent some time on the road with it. While I don't have many roads with good curves near me, I could tell a HUGE difference in the way the car handled on the highway. The car felt very planted around curves at any (soemtimes highly illegal) speed. Pretty much all lean is gone from the car, even at high speeds around on/off ramps. I don't know that car felt a whole lot smoother on the bumpy side streets, but our streets are really jacked right now from being plowed so much this winter. It may take some minor adjustments, but I feel like for the most part the car as it sits is a great mix for handling the curves and being tolerable as a daily driver, which is essentially what I was shooting for.

I think I'm at 3 sweeps in the front and full soft in the back...I'd have to check my notes. I'm gonna give them some time to break in before I make any adjustments. Hard to tell right now with the limited amount I drive it and how shitty the streets are in KC after this winter.

Yeah, that was kind of the idea with this car...I wanted to get it dropped some, but this is my Power Tour ride, so I didn't want super stiff springs and I didnt want to worry about bangin headers. I think it's a pretty decent compromise between looks and practicallity, at least for Kansas City streets. Should get some pictures of my WS6 tomorrow, which I consider to be a little more asthetically pleasing
