upper panhard support?
upper panhard support is what i am going to call it, it is the flat piece that bolts above the panhard rod on the pass side of the car then across to the driver side with 3 bolts.
is this really necessary when upgrading to full tubular rear suspension?

i have all tubular rear. if they hake a tubular replacement for this i will chande it if it is in fact necessary to have it.
breathing
i have seen it both ways but it looks really weak and flexable to be weight bearing.

If you remove it, the stock location PHB has a ton of leverage on the passenger side mount. The ONLY thing holding that mount are the spot welds. It will flex and eventually rip/tear out.
The upper mount is indeed weight bearing, but in compression and stretch. It reinforces the passenger side mount.
So yes ... you need it.

Hello
Like mentioned above it is a weight bearing part. And it is a must! If you are looking for better clearance for exhaust then I would suggest a relocation pan hard bar. Below is a link to show you what UMI Performance has to offer!

If you have any other questions feel free to ask!
Thanks
