Default My spring issue with PICS

Well ever since that I have done my 9" rear probally not related since it is sprung weight. There has been a BANG BANG BANG going over small bumps. The car was on the rolling lift and this is what was found. WTF Spring Sag? All but one coil is compressed.

hahah wow that's crazy. looks like you'll need some new springs. unless you've got a few bodies in the trunk or something.

maybe its the camera angle, but they don't look like they're seated in those pictures. also, are the earlier fbody pro-kit springs red or something?
either way i can tell you that even if you did have bumpstops with a stock rear, they would be only thing keeping those springs from looking like that. eibach rear springs are pure crap.

I agree they don't look seated, but I am going to guess that it is just the angle since even if they weren't seated I don't see how it would do that to the spring. The LS1 pro kits are notorious for not being very good. The fronts are fine but the rears are terrible. I would either A.) upgrade to Stranos or B.) get some used rears from an LT1 Pro Kit if you need a quick fix on the cheap.

You talking "Pro-Kit" or "Sportlines"?? My Pro-Kit springs are 15 years old, and don't look like that! Also, my Pro-Kits are grey, not red.....

Hmm.. I've had my pro-kit in since 2006 and no real issues other than the back end being a little lower than I'd like. -Bottoms out.

They are the ProKit 1.7 inch drop all the way around. Well just more money spent I guess when Sam gets back from Racing.

I agree with "JD AMG".....1.7" drop means Eibach Sportlines. The "ProKit" spring was advertised as 1.25"......

ooops my bad, Strano has not returned my calls or emails, so I may end getting the BMR springs. Plus they are here in Florida. Damn sales tax tho.
