Default 1996 Z28 stock brake issues

I recently bought a 96 z28 and the brakes are simply terrible. Replaced the pads, discs look good. Car shakes a lot when brakes are applied from 65+.

I was thinking that I may have a case of no vacuum. How do I check that or what else could it be?

You replaced the pads and didn't replace the rotors or have them turned?...

If you don't grease the pins, yes, they can freeze up and warp your brake rotors VERY quickly.

As mentioned though, did you do any work on the rotors, or just look? Odds are, they're warped and need cutting or replacing (usually, replacing is preferred).
