Default Best budget shock, bang for buck, for a spring/shock swap

I am just wanting a good shock that will work well with a 1.5 drop all the way around.

I don't want any of those extremely expensive shocks some of you guys use. I would like to spend no more than 250-350.

Any help appreciated.

I'd say SLP Bilsteins. A tad more than you're looking to spend, but a good shock. A cheaper substitute would be the KYB AGX's that are "adjustable" and slightly cheaper than the SLP Bilsteins, but are also not as high of quality.

A good shock that will work well with a 1.5" drop and a set that costs $250-350 don't really belong in the same sentence, lol. The SLP Bilsteins would probably be your best bet tho for only around $60 more if Strano still has his special.

There's actually places that have them for around $380. That's $30 cheaper than Strano's sale. Just to be for warned...they're on backorder right now til "Mid" April...

Where did you find them for $30 cheaper? I found them for $19 cheaper shipped to my door than what Strano is asking. But he also has cheaper prices on some other things. I saw one place that was asking $129 more than what Strano was. What a rip!!!

I bought my full set of Bilstein HD's. Not the SLP ones which aren't as good, for only $380 from partsgeek.com. I added the next day shipping on them which could have saved me $30. Came ot to $410 with that shipping.
