Default ST swaybars

How much harsher is the ride?
Does the rear give as much of a gain
as the front and how does it effect ride quality
also.

How long/hard was the install

THANKS

There should be no additional harshness from the sway bars,,, no matter how large they are {with-in reason}.

Depending on what you use your car for, you may not need or want the rear bar. If I remember right the ST rear bar is something like 25mm. Thats really too much bar for most applications.

You might be surprised and happy with the ST 35mm front and the stock 19mm rear. Just give it a try before you buy the rear bar. If you need more rear bar, try a 21mm 1LE rear. I'm pretty happy with the 35mm front/19mm rear set-up right now, will try a 21mm rear sooner or later when I find a cheap used one.

Install is about as easy as it gets,,,, maybe 45 mins. or so.

Is this a good mod for a daily driver
or strictly Auto-X?
How about road noise/squeking

I just put mine on last week. The ride seems a very small bit harsher but it could just be my head. I have not Auto-x yet but I am told it will not under steer as much and just corner better. The steering seems much sharper and turn in is much more precise. There is no more noise in the car. I like it a lot and my car is driven every day.

So are they any real negative to switching?
Does this make your tires or shocks wear faster?
Do you need any special alignment?

No real negatives at all. While you don't need a special alignment just because of the addition of the larger swaybars,, a little extra negative camber will help things alot.

Around -.5 degrees should be great and shouldn't show any abnormal wear as long as you arre not strictly a ghighway cruiser {which I assume you are not due to your interest in the swaybars}.

The only negative to a larger front sway would be in drag racing. From a handling point of view though, it's all gravy.
