LG Motorsports C5 Bracket review...Long
#21
Never even thought of grinding down the stock one...I might actually look into ARP to see if the have some better bols, but honestly, the way the brackets are designed, the bolts really aren't carrying a whole lot of load so I'm not overly concerned.

Easy Install
Thanks for all the great info and pics. Made my install way too easy. The website for LG Motorsports is still the same so I actually called in to verify what you had posted and just ordered over the phone. Got the rotors off ebay for about 100.00 and just went ahead and got stainless braided lines from an online company that sells the combo C5 front and Fbody rears as a set. Braking power is awesome now.
Again thanks for posting all the info.

Sorry to revive an old thread, but perhaps it's better than starting a new thread on a similar topic!
I just recieved a pair of LG Motorsports F-Body to C5 Z06 brake conversion brackets. I tried to use these brake conversion brackets to install C5 Z06 brake calipers and rotors onto my f-body, but I am unable to get all four bolts to line up. The C5 Z06 caliper contacts the F-body knuckle before the bolts can line up.
Is there something that I'm doing wrong?
Thanks in advance for your help!

is one better than the other? i assume you guys moved to the steel version as its probably cheaper and faster to make than the billet aluminum version. i have the aluminum ones and being that it is so thick compared to the steel version, the ball joint nut is hard to get to.

all of my F-Body's have had UMI parts and ever since u took care of me on a broken torque arm that was out of warranty on my 2nd car (drag race), I will always run your products.

I have a set of the LG Brackets. I removed them years ago. Will these allow me to use 4 Piston brembos from anything? Or the 4 piston Willwoods that Sam Strano sells?

thanks Ryan, glad to see UMI doing well. I am on my 4th F-Body("road race") now and as u can see it has UMI parts.

These brackets are what Sam uses to mount the Wilwood calipers, so yes. I don't know about the Brembos. Give Sam a call and he will take care of you. I hope that helps!- Ryan
