stock sway bar on moser 9" does not fit...
so i got a moser 9'' housing and mocking it up tryingto get everything going i see that the stock sway bar does not fit onto the axle housing without rubbing both sides. i have heard about the 3" exhaust clamp on the housing to get it to fit but it don't even fits. anyone have a writeup on it or know what i can do?

When I installed my Moser 9inch I had to use an exhaust clamp, not sure of the size, just measure the axle tube OD and use the proper size clamp. You will have to modify the steel mounting "U" shaped part that the bushing rests in as well. I also had to use a spacer under the sway bar mounts on the rear to lower the bar to clear the rear end. This post also talks about the spacer.

There may be aftermarket mounts that bolt on, but I never looked into them.

Jeremy, my 9" has 3.25" axle tubes. I used exhaust clamps. I had to bend the "U" bolt a little. But, the stock bar with poly bushings fits without hitting anything. Where, exactly, is it hitting on yours?

Hello
I noticed that you are having clearance issues with your stock sway bar and your axle housing. And I just wanted to leave you know that UMI Performance offers a set of replacement brackets. They will allow you to mount your factory sway bar to the rear end housing. Below is a link to show you what I am explaining.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.
Thanks
Brad
