Red face killing spring

soooo i'm sure i'm gonna get a lot of flack for this.... but i can't find any springs that are worth a crap that will lower my car to where i want it, has anybody ever cut aftermarket springs? or better yet, does anyone know of any springs that lower a 95 camaro 1.5"? people told me to avoid sportlines and B&G S2 springs sooooooo........

It all depends on your budget, the greater you budget the greater your options.

IMO, I would recommend the LS1 Sportline way before cutting springs.

well money isnt an issue with the springs, i didnt know there was a difference in LS1 and LT1 sportlines, are the LS1 sportlines stiffer or something?

LS1 Sportlines have better rates for how much they drop your car (stiffer than the LT1)

Here's the spring rates and Pt#'s

LS1 Sportline: pt# 4.7038, 314-589 lb.in. FRONT, and 51-206 lb.in. REAR.

LT1 Sportline: pt# 4.3138, 360 lb.in. FRONT, and 80-137 lb.in. REAR.

Ground Control Coilover kit with adjustable spring perches in the rear. At least then you will be able to choose your ride height and still run a decent spring.

Strano spring will lower it that much? wow if thats the case i would totally go with them, i thought they only lowered 1.2 inches

According to his website, the springs rates for lt1 as well as ls1 are 1.2 inches.
