Problem installing KYB AGX rear shocks with a Strange S60 rear end
Helping a friend do a KYB AGX shock install (just doing the rears at the moment) and ran into a problem.
The car in question has a Strange S60 rear end. The factory OEM shocks installed just fine into this rear end, but the bottom mounting stud on the KYBs (that goes through the brackets on the axle tubes) is larger diameter than the hole in the bracket.
Number one, I've never heard of anyone having this problem, you'd think more people would run into it. Maybe the original 10bolt has slightly larger holes so the KYBs fit without modification?
Number two, what's the best way to go about enlarging those holes? I imagine that metal is extremely hard so it would take quite a sharp, sturdy drill bit or dremel tool to remove enough material without taking hours.
TIA.

If you drilled them out to fit the shock, how would that affect the overall size/strength of the bracket? Pics would help. I would probably just drill it to fit and call it a day.
