UMI= 100% USA Manufactured Suspension Products
#42
Hello,
All our products are made in the USA. What I was referring to was a very small percentage of items we sell aren't made here in our facility, but they are manufactured in the US. Some items have bends too large for our press and our tube bender so we have to have other companies do the bending process on some larger items.
Hope that helps!

I currently have a tunnel mounted torque arm made from you guys, I love the thing but I'm thinking of switching from my Y-pipe and catback to a TSP duals kit.
In the picture above, it looks like the crossmember mounts right above the X-Pipe in the exhaust.
Do you have any tips on this? Or suggestions?

Yes the cross member will be in the way of the X pipe. We actually did a new set up on one of our shop cars here about 2 months ago. And what he did was went with a full length adjustable and a relocation cross member to eliminate any issues with breaking the tail-shaft. But with that specific set up I can assure you will not have any issues what so ever. Below is a link to show you what I am talking about.

If you have any other questions feel free to ask.

My order on the drag bar and relocation brackets is processing from Byunspeed.
UMI **** is top notch and too nice to bolt on the car and drive around on. Upper and lower front A arms will be next when I go to some drag springs and shocks!

Thanks guys, A great combination of Strano & UMI parts has given me one hell of a ride.
Called Sam yesterday & replacing my J&M poly ball LCA's with your non adj poly/roto-joints LCA's. Unfortunetly you didn't have these available at the time I was buying LCA's but looking forward to putting them on.

UMI parts basically holds my car together. I have their tubular k-member, stb, sfc's, lca's with relocation brackets, and panhard rod. I will continue to buy from any company that makes quality products in the US with no fitment issues!
Still need a few more suspension parts. Body mounted torque arm, and maybe a new crossmember if I decide to do an m6 swap. Probably upper and lower A-arms eventually since the bushings on my stockers are screwed and my k-member is red, need the control arms to match! Thanks for keeping jobs in the USA...

UMI, I have only one beef with your roto-jointed PHB and LCA's. Jesus you made them hard to adjust. The locking nut is so close to the mount that I can't fit a wrench in there, I had to specially shave a wrench down to be able to tighten those bad boys. Other than that, great stuff!

Great products! Started building my suspension with UMI parts on my LT1 and they looks great and functioned flawlessly but ended up selling the car and getting an ls1. I will def. be using UMI on my new 99 SS suspension just need to save some $.

just put mine on, ditto arcs comments on the adjustment lock nuts. But wow what a diff from stock lcas, it's like the rear follows the car instead of fighting the turn. Also what size are the locking nuts, I tried 1 1/4 & 1 1/8 the 1 1/8 was close enough to get it tight.
