Question What shocks should I get?

My car is a '98 w/ 44k on it, I drive it about 10k/year and drag race it whenever possible. I just got some GMS lowering springs and thought this would be a good time for new shocks. I don't want to spend $600 for a set. Any feedback is appreciated!

I'd seriously consider a set of Bilsteins then if you don't want to spend $600 or more. If anything get the revalves from Sam Strano for around $500. Thats what I have and couldn't be happier. Otherwise if you want to spend a tad bit more money then the QA1 Hal shocks are great as well. That way you can adjust them when you are at the track and then put them back for street use when you leave

If you want to drag race a lot get some HAL's with the coilovers in the front, and use stock springs in the back, they are 12-way adjustable, so you can have it set for whatever you want to do.....

I have them on my car, they are great......

I had bilsteins on my car as an original option, it was a very stiff ride, car handled awesome, but now I'm a little more focused on going fast......
