Other than that rattle though it seems to drive very well just occasionally makes this rattle noise when driving on rough roads. Is it me or is this normal? Oh and one more thing, when i got back from the test drive i noticed i forgot to screw in the 2 bolts on the pass side next to the strut tower bolts. fml, after i noticed this i got the two bolts and screwed them in fine. Maybe this couldve been the problem, turned out though it wasnt. any thoughts?
Are the front shock nuts torqued down nice and snug? If there is any slack between the bumpstop and mount you will get noise over bumps etc. That is why when replacing the front shocks on these cars I like to use a wall mounted spring compressor with air tools. It could be anything though.

You barely need a compressor for a lowering spring install. The stock spring if uncompressed is a bitch with those mickey mouse autozone type compressors.

and so the noise persists, tightened the bolts up on the shocks went over to make sure i hadnt forgotten any bolts and still the fricken rattling continues. Though not so noticeable. i took it to a shop and they told me that one of the shocks could "possibly" be shot, wich sounds like bs cause i got them new. Anyone have any problems similiar to this or any suggestions?

That sounds really far fetched that a shock is bad.
