Default Differences in the 4th Gen Rack & Pinion.

Well, I am really trying to gather some information on what are the differences in the all the rack and pinions of the 4th generation, specifically 98-02. I know rack and pinions from a v6 model are different from the ones out of a v8 LS1, the angle where they meet the steering shaft is off and a v6 rack would not clear a v8 engine. But what else is there to know? I think once we learn more about it, the information will come handy to many here on the board.

Not only that, but a v6 rack will fit a v8 but the angle of the shaft changes a little, in a v8 car it interferes with the driver side exhaust manifold. What else is there to know???
