Default suspension to solid

OK I love my 2000 ws6 vert but, I'm really getting sick of the jounce I get on the expansion cracks on the roads, everything is factory (except sfc's and tower brace) with 36000 miles, nothing is worn out, can someone give me some advice that will save me all the experimenting? softer struts or tires?? anything? thks.

What's your tire pressure set at?
Try setting the tires to 32psi front and 30psi rear.

The above post + better shocks and softer bump stops.
Look into some bilstien HDs maybe and some base Z28/Trans Am rear bump stops.

I'm running 30 psi, so it's possible I'm riding on the bump stops? that actually is what it feels like, or are you saying only the rear has bump stops? cuz it feels like there's almost no suspension front or back.

Is your car lowered, or is it at factory ride height?

The stock shocks aren't known for the best of rides. But, also, these cars aren't caddies or BMWs, they are just a stiffer ride in general.

Just want to make sure, because his problem really sounds like a problem with lowering springs, not a car with factory springs. The only thing I can think of is the shocks.

Upgrade the shocks. The stockers are crap, even with low miles.

Would have to also agree with the shock being the culprit.

Even with low mileage on them they could of already lost their ability to properly dampen even factory springs.
