My Koni double adj. shocks have sat around for abt. 4yrs can i still install?

I finally got around to finding them their new home.
It may sound like a dumb question but they have been in the shed for a long time...and I do plan to actuate them before I pop them in.
But i am a little worried that they shouldnt be shelfed that long.
My last Z had frame issues and I just could not put them into it. And well it just took me this long to get around to find another one.

Thanks in advance for the input...am hoping to hear good news...as they were bought brand new.

Four years?! They're not an investment you sock away for retirement, ya know... I think I would have sold them long before then... Who knows, in 4 years Koni almost assuredly has made some refinement to their shocks?!

I know....I know...bumbling bafoon....what happened was I kept debating going ahead and putting them into the messed up chassis one...but then sold it...also women bro...they suck time better than any...well let me stop there.
Good to know about the warranty but....u think I'll need to use it?
If I open them and close them before I pop them in u think it'll be good enuff test for the seals?
I dont lilke to work twice is why I posted.

^ If you bought them from Strano, I would ask him, or just phone Koni...

I'd cycle them, a fair bit... And I'd drop some synthetic oil on the top seals before I did. Sitting for 4 years doesn't do any exposed rubber any good and generally leaks become an issue on shocks like that. But then nobody really does what I recommended, they just slam 'em on.

Sam how do I get to those seals just pour some on the bottom side of them?
I will do as you say....and cycle them...which is what I meant to say earlier that I'd do.
