I have noticed a clunk under the car if i brake real hard, and sometimes once more when i take off ( only seems like it does it taking off if it has already done it when i brake hard ) Anyways, i have checked the LCA's, torque arm, torque arm relocation cross-member, everything is tight .....BTW , i have a full spool , only thing is , it just started doing it seems like when i put my tranny back in, also when it was out , i had to replace one of the bearing caps on the u-joint because it got damaged when i took the DS out and all the bearings fell out.....What does it sound like ??

are you still running stock rubber motor mounts? worn out mounts could cause a clunking noise during acceleration. i had a similar issue and as soon as i installed poly motor mounts, problem went away.

also could be a torn tranny mount, have you checked that?

I have Prothane motor mounts, but i have not checked the tranny mount yet, ill try and do that this weekend

Interesting... I have the same exact problem in my '07 Envoy. It's going to the dealership on monday. Two totally different platforms but who knows.
