Clunk coming from rear of car...
Preface: Car is a 6-speed with completely stock suspension.
Here's the deal. When I engage first gear after the car has been sitting awhile (overnight), I get a clunk from the rear of the car - it honestly sounds like the rear right. It only does it in first gear, and how aggressively I engage first gear does not matter - slow, fast, it will clunk. As far as I can tell, there is no issue with handling. I did a search, but didn't come across much. Pre-search, I thought it was a rear brake locking onto the rotor after the parking break was applied, and then popping (clunking) loose after engaging first gear and getting the wheels rolling. After searching, I think it could be a bushing on the LCA or possibly the panhard, but my guess would be LCA. I have access to a jack and jack stands - what should I be looking for? Is there a way to "test" the bushings? Thanks in advance.
