Default KYB AGX shock setting - soft to stiff?

Can anyone tell me whether 1 is soft and 8 is stiff for the KYB adjustables or just the opposite?

You would be correct. 1 is soft, 8 is firm. Go here and check out the links in post#3. Some pretty good info there also.
