Help me choose the right lowering springs
I am looking to buy some lowering springs for my Z, but i dont know what would be good. Im thinking about buying a set of Hotchkis 1'' lowering springs for the rear and eibach sportlines with a 1.75" drop in the front. Basically i dont want the car to be that low, i just want to get rid of the fender gaps and have a mean looking stance. My wheels are 17x9 in the front and 17X10.5 in the rears TTM's with 275 40 17 in the front and 315 35 17's in the back.
Would the hotchkis/eibach combination look and perform good or should i just stick with eibach all the way around?

Isn't a 1,75 in drop in the front a little much?
I chose the Strano 1.2's for some reasons and one was that I needed my car to be comfortable, my 17 inch wheels needed to fit and the fender gaps had to be reduced big time.
I really like the result I got with the Strano's: looks nice and greatly improved the handling.
Good luck with your choise!

So, you want a 1.75" drop in front and a 1" drop in back....but not that low? I'm just a bit confused....
If you're looking for less than a 1.75", as mentioned Stranos are available that drop the car about 1.25" front and 1.25" back, and the rates are rated as being comfortable (for a lowering spring) and great performers.

I put BMRs in the front and kept the stock in the back - got a nice little "rake" to the car now - I have TTMs all the way around with 275s in the front and 315s in the back.
