Default Rack & pinion issues

I tried a search & can't beleive I'm the only one who has a massive leak lol. I am on my 2nd rack & having the same problem. It constantly drips to the point where I have a new trail up & down my driveway everytime I take the car out. If I turn, there is a puddle, & if I jack the car up it will empty the entire system down my left hand tie rod & onto my brake rotor & wheel. Not wanting to replace with another POS unit so is there a good fix for this or a better aftermarket option? I was also looking to replace the pump with a PSC 1200 series pump to try to upgrade the whole system at the same time.

Any advise is appreciated.

It appears mine is starting to go as well - was looking around and a complete kit (reman) looks to be around $200+Core but I'm still shopping around.

Where did you get the rack from??

If you got a re-man rack from Advance, Autozone, Pepboys, ect., then thats most likely the problem. They are junk.

I lowered the subframe to get the bolts out when I changed my rack. Had the same problem with fluid blowing out the side seal. replaced the rack and all good now.
