Brake upgrade from LT1 Im starting to piece together my C5/C6 brake conversion. Any one know if the C6 Z51 brake rotor will fit under a 17 inch wheel? or is the C5 rotor the biggest I can go without going to an 18? Also since I Like the look of the C6 rotors better do I need the C6 bracket or will the C5 on work? Thanks

I don't believe the C6 Z51 rotors (13.4") will fit under 17" wheels. I compared one to my 17" wheel on the car, and I just didn't see it fitting. It could be extremely close though, but I didn't mount them to find out. Probably too close for comfort even if it did fit.
I think the largest rotor you can run with most 17" wheels is a 13" rotor, they fill out the wheels quite nicely.

After looking at the Kore3 fitment template it looks like the overall rotor and caliper is on .30" larger then the c5 rotor. So price difference of rotor and brackets arnt really worth it.
