Your Ebrake Tension at the Spring (hook) on the Rotor??
Hey fellas.
I am putting some LS1 rear brakes (c5 calipers) and LS1 Ebrake on my LT1 camaro. The picture shows that the 2 ebrake cables that connect to the rotors are still a decent distance away from the Ebrake Handle Assembly Cable. That ebrake assembly handle cable actually comes about 2 inches closer but still alittle over 2 inches too far.
If i compress the Springs at the rotor/backing plate/hook attachment to the brake shoes... I may be able to make the cables reach far enough to connect in place. But the springs will be fully compressed on the hooks. Is this normal? Does anyone have a picture of that spring that covers the cable that connects to your hook on the rotor?
