Default Lowering 2inches any problems?

I had my car lowered a few years ago and had to raise it back up. The problem was it was leaking gas. I think it was a pinched gas line or something. I had that repaired back then and put the stock spring back in. Has anyone had a problem like this. I was thinking of lowering it again. I have a chance to get some Intrak 2 inch springs for $100. Those are the same springs I had back then. Should I put those back in or should I get some Eibach 1.5 inch springs for full price. I love the look I had back then and will those Intrax improve my handling or are they just a appearance mod? Can someone help me out.

i wouldn't do either

with eibachs i imagine you'll be hitting the bump stops a lot because they are so damn soft.

the intraxes, from everyone i've ever known to have had them, have a serious sagging problem after a *long* period of time.

So what do you recommend? I wasn't looking to spend a lot. I could get the INtrax for $100. Any suggestions that close to that.

I have the eibach sportlines on my car and love the stance. Zero problems, I really like how the car handles, and I can still pull off good 60ft times at the track. I've had them on the car for about a year and a half.

MadIceV8 I was just showing my friend your car. I told him that it's one of my favorite on here. BTW what color is it? On you post it looks silver but in the other thread about springs it looks pewter. The stance of your car is the one I'm going for. I also want the rims you have. Aren't they 18s in back and 17s up front or 18s all around. I was also showing my wife the other day and told her thats what mine will look like when I'm done except for the color of course. She thought it looked great.

Thanks . It ended up actually being close to a 2inch drop (I think 1.8 to be exact). The actual car color is lt pewter metallic... but its been re-painted and contains more metallic then stock (kinda like a metal flake).
